The Cooper Foundation is the philanthropic, community outreach, and community development arm of Cooper University Health Care. Its overarching purpose is to raise and steward charitable funds to advance Cooper's mission to serve, to heal, to educate. The Foundation fulfills this purpose through a wide range of initiatives - all focused on improving the patient experience and making the communities we serve healthier places to live, work and play.
Barnes & Noble Book Drive
Each year during the months of November and December, Barnes & Noble stores across the country participate in the holiday book drive, providing customers the opportunity to purchase new books to donate to locally designated non-profit organizations. Through this initiative, Barnes & Noble Deptford has generously donated more than 20,000 brand new books to The Cooper Foundation and Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. Through this initiative, we are able to share the gift of reading with our littlest patients and the children in our community.
