This Giving Tuesday, our community came together to make a meaningful impact for Cooper University Health Care and The Cooper Foundation. Thanks to your generosity, we raised more than $6,000 to benefit Cooper’s Child Life program. These funds will directly support crucial services that enhance the care we provide to our youngest patients and their families during challenging times.

Child Life specialists at Cooper play a vital role in helping young patients navigate the hospital experience. Through play, emotional support, and education about medical procedures, they bring comfort and understanding to children and their families. Your contributions help provide resources such as art supplies, toys, books, and other tools that make this care possible.

One of the many young patients impacted by your generosity is Erionna, a bright and playful 9-year-old who came to Cooper’s Children’s Hospital for treatment after being diagnosed with asthma and diabetes. The hospital environment was overwhelming for her and her family, but Cooper’s Child Life Specialists stepped in to make a difference. They helped Erionna understand her treatments and created a welcoming space where she could feel less intimidated. Although managing her conditions can be tough, moments of play allow her to relax and feel like a regular kid.

This year’s Giving Tuesday campaign was very successful, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Whether you donated, shared our posts, or encouraged others to join, your efforts helped strengthen important initiatives at Cooper. Thank you for being part of this impactful day and making Giving Tuesday 2024 a success.
