The Women's Board of The Cooper Foundation

It was 1919 when a volunteer auxiliary of community women came together to support the work of the caregivers at Cooper Hospital. Since then, the Auxiliary has grown to become the Women’s Board Committee of The Cooper Foundation and has raised millions of dollars for the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper, and other hospital initiatives.

Over the decades, Board members have organized a variety of events, all benefiting Cooper. In recent years, the Board played an instrumental role in helping to fund renovations to the pediatric unit in the hospital’s Kelemen building, making it a brighter place to be for our littlest patients.

We Made a Call for Help and So Many of You Answered!

Since launching the COVID-19 Assistance Fund, our community has mobilized to support front-line healthcare professionals at Cooper University Health Care. On behalf of everyone at Cooper, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Many of you have already reached out offering to help. Your donations will provide medical equipment and supplies for Cooper physicians, nurses, medical students, and staff caring for people who have come into contact with the virus.

The Need Is Still Great

The New Jersey Commissioner of Health named Cooper University Health Care as one of three health systems in New Jersey operating as a coordinating entity in anticipation of the COVID-19 surge and the need for critical care beds. Cooper will coordinate all of the Southern NJ counties.

As the only Level 1 Trauma Center in southern New Jersey, the region is counts on our expertise. Your continued generosity will help ensure our team has the equipment they need to treat and protect our workers, our patients and our community.

Right now, we may be physically separated, but we are closer than ever.

Thank you for your support!
