Celebrating Young Readers: A Summer of Success in Literacy, Learning, and Community Engagement at St. Joseph’s Pro-Cathedral School!

This summer, we proudly celebrated the achievements of our young readers at the Summer Reading Graduation Celebration at St. Joseph’s Pro-Cathedral School.

The program, funded by generous donors, helps grade school children stay academically connected through a fun and friendly summer camp-like program.

The aim of the program is to address specific social determinants of health by improving learning and reading skills in Camden students.

The Cooper Learning Center, in collaboration with Cooper Behavioral Health, is dedicated to supporting local children and families through literacy programs. By extending our efforts beyond the health system walls, we are committed to improving learning and reading skills for K-4 students in Camden at no cost to families.

About Cooper Learning Center

As part of Cooper University Hospital’s Department of Pediatrics, the Cooper Learning Center, located in Voorhees, is distinguished as the region’s only child-learning program affiliated with a university-level medical center.
