Child-Friendly Playroom Opens in Surgical Access Center

The newly renovated playroom in the Surgical Access Center offers a tree-shaped bookshelf and a leaf-shaped table, a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that also serves as a marker board for creative play, a wall-mounted television, colorful ottomans, new carpet and a cheerful light blue paint.

Children now have a place of their own to relax and play while waiting for their loved one to come out of same-day surgery. The newly renovated playroom in the Surgical Access Center offers a tree-shaped bookshelf and a leaf-shaped table, a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that also serves as a marker board for creative play, a wall-mounted television, colorful ottomans, new carpet and a cheerful light blue paint. A butterfly mural donated by Priority Solutions International of Swedesboro completes the new space.
