Cooper Trauma’s 17th Annual Snowflake Fundraiser
On December 10th, the Cooper Trauma Center team and dedicated supporters gathered at the DiFlorio Family Healing Garden for the annual lighting ceremony, marking this year’s Season of Hope and Healing.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the 2025 Snowflake Fundraiser raised $4,500. These funds will support families of trauma patients during their hospital stay by providing comfort bags and essential items to ease their experience during difficult moments.
“During a typically busy holiday season, the event allows a moment to pause and remember the people who are important to us. I look forward to the lighting of the healing garden and see it as a symbol of light and hope as the days grow shorter. In addition, the funds raised allow the team to provide items of comfort for trauma family members as they support patients through hospitalization” shared Stacey Staman, Clinical Educator and Trauma Program Coordinator.
Each snowflake decoration purchased served as a heartfelt tribute, honoring or memorializing someone special. These dedications are included in this year’s Tribute Booklet. The fundraiser not only celebrated these individuals but also supported the essential work of the Trauma Center, enhancing patient care and the comfort of families.
This year’s event offered a meaningful moment of reflection and celebration as attendees watched the garden light up—symbolizing the hope and healing made possible through community support. Thank you to all who helped make a lasting difference in the lives of we serve.
“The event is important to me, as it’s a time for everyone to reflect on those who are and were important to us and to highlight the staff who give so much of themselves to care for patients every day,” said Janice Delgiorno, Trauma Program Director. “The funds raised allow the team to give back to patient families. When trauma happens, it is sudden, and these funds help provide items that make their stay a little better.”
Additionally, special thank-you goes to the Camden Creative Arts High School Choir for making the evening even more memorable. The tradition of hope and healing will continue in the years ahead.
