Cooper’s Adopt-A-Family Program A Resounding Success
As the holiday season wraps up, The Cooper Foundation is pleased to announce the success of Cooper’s participation in the Volunteers of America – Delaware Valley “Adopt-A-Family” program.
According to organizers at the Foundation, 58 families (representing approximately 200 people in total) were adopted by Cooper. For all families, children received a new outfit and toys from wish lists they had submitted. Each family also was provided with a food store gift card, enabling them to enjoy a plentiful holiday meal.
Volunteers of America – Delaware Valley expressed its amazement and sincere gratitude for the overwhelming generosity Cooper employees showed towards the program.
Participation among Cooper employees was tremendous. Some employees chose to adopt families on their own, while others joined together as Departments collectively, including:
