Dunkin’ and Cooper Surprise Teen Cancer Patient with Eagles Tickets

A routine appointment at MD Anderson Cooper Cancer Center turned into a major game-day surprise for 15-year-old Jaden Mohan of Egg Harbor Township.

Jaden, who finished treatment for osteosarcoma earlier this year, thought he was coming in for a standard follow-up visit. Instead, he was greeted by representatives from Dunkin’ — along with their mascot Cuppy — who presented him with four tickets to the Philadelphia Eagles’ September 21 game against the Los Angeles Rams in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The surprise gave Jaden and his family a joyful milestone to look forward to after more than a year of surgery, chemotherapy, transfusions, and ongoing rehabilitation. Sunday’s game marked the family’s first time attending an Eagles game together — a milestone made even sweeter by Jaden’s recent clear scans.

Kal Shah, a local Dunkin’ franchise owner, joined The Cooper Foundation team in surprising Jaden and shared words of encouragement with him and his family.

Moments like this highlight how community partners can brighten the journey for patients and families at Cooper. Thank you to Dunkin’ for helping us make this celebration possible!
