Ed’s Story: Back to Broad Street – Double Hip Replacement
Two years ago, Philadelphia mummer Ed McLaughlin was in so much pain due to hip problems that he was unable to perform in the New Year’s Day Mummers Parade for the first time in almost 50 years. Devastated by the thought of letting his fellow mummers down, Ed knew it was time to take control. He sought out the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute for a double hip replacement. Just a few months after surgery, Ed was back dancing–and marching down Broad Street enjoying his new, pain-free hips and a renewed lease on life.
