Featured Donor: Joe Forline and PSE&G

As Vice President of Gas Operations at PSE&G, Joe Forline understands the importance of building partnerships with communities the company serves.

“Part of the culture at PSE&G is to support the community,” said Forline. “South Jersey is important to us, and Camden has always been a focus.”

PSE&G is a lead sponsor of the 2017 Cooper Red Hot Gala and supports initiatives of The Cooper Foundation throughout the year.

Forline has volunteered as a member of The Cooper Foundation Board of Trustees for more than 12 years and has never missed a Red Hot Gala.

“My wife and I love going to the Gala,” said Forline. “It’s the best event in the Philly and South Jersey area.”

“It’s the one time of the year that you get to see everybody out with their spouses,” Forline continued. “My wife loves the gift baskets, and we always bid on the restaurant gift certificates.”

PSE&G has been servicing Camden for more than a century and is an active partner in the city’s renaissance.

“I’ve worked in and around Camden my entire career,” Forline said. “To see the transformation that is happening is just amazing, and Cooper has been a driving force.”

All About Cooper: “I visited a friend yesterday and wanted to tell you how impressed I was. It was my first time visiting a patient at Cooper and compared with other hospitals, was a great experience. The front of the house was welcoming and efficient, the nursing staff friendly and professional. It made me wish I was a part of the organization. I also was impressed by the mission statement posted at the elevator. Nice touch!” – SH

On the Dedication Tribute Event In Honor Of Dr. Steven E. Ross: “Thank you so very much to you and all of your staff at the Foundation and the Hospital who put together the wonderful tribute and honor for Steve. I'm overwhelmed that so much money was raised to buy equipment for the trauma admitting area.

From where I'm observing, (36 years of marriage this June) Steve has always performed whatever "job" - from patient care to education - he has undertaken at Cooper to the best of his ability and will continue to do so until his retirement. Thank you so much for facilitating this much deserved honor to my husband and best friend!”– Carolyn Ross

Gifts IMO Banner

One way to express condolences on the loss of a loved one and support the future of medicine at Cooper University Health Care at the same time is to make a gift to the The Cooper Foundation. Your memorial gift will be recognized with a beautiful card featuring artwork by a New Jersey artist that we will send to whomever you designate.

Recent gifts to MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper have been made in memory of the following individuals:

Olimpia DiPietrantonio, of Cherry Hill - Olimpia, known for her homemade pizzas and panzerotti, was the matriarch at a large and loving family here and in Italy.

Nancy Mathias, of Rosenhayn - Nancy was a country music fan who enjoyed line dancing and loved her family traditions and holiday rituals.
