Honoring Physicians on
Doctor’s Day and Every Day

Thank you to everyone who celebrated Doctor’s Day this year with a gift to The Cooper Foundation in recognition of our extraordenary physicians. Your personal notes to your favorite "docs" were very special. Here's a few:

Dr. Kim Rozengarten: “You are the best doctor I've ever had. I am so glad you are my partner in keeping me healthy.” – Rachel Berget

“Dr. David Shersher, we are so thankful for your expertise, professionalism, and talent. You provided excellent care, generosity of your time to our family, and all with a broad smile and humble heart. Thank you so much!” – Brian and Anne Gahman

Dr. Jasjit Sehdev: “Your compassion, caring and listening skills are outstanding. Thanks, Doc. You rock! “ – Diane Dixon

While Doctors’ Day is celebrated nationally on March 30 each year, here at The Cooper Foundation every day is Doctors’ Day. You can make a gift anytime throughout the year to honor a physician, nurse or Cooper staff member. Visit our website to donate.

Marlton Family Makes Gift of Remembrance, Gratitude

When Thangam Venkatraman began having trouble breathing, her family took her straight to Cooper, where doctors determined the 75-year-old woman, had experienced a massive heart attack.

That was six years ago, but Thangam’s family never forgot the care she received during her hospital-stay.

“My mother-in-law received excellent care,” said Savithri Iyer. “The doctors, nurses, social workers and all the staff were very, very helpful. We wanted to show our gratitude and do something in return.”

Savithri and her husband, Shankar, recently made a very generous gift to the Cooper Heart Institute in honor of Thangam and in recognition of the care she received at Cooper.
