Linda Brand, assistant vice president for Patient Access and Financial Navigation at Cooper University Health Care, was a passionate advocate for growth, opportunity, and leadership. Even in the face of her battle with pancreatic cancer, Linda remained focused on lifting others up—encouraging her colleagues to advance both professionally and personally. That spirit lives on through the Linda Brand Scholarship, which has already made a profound impact on one of the 2024 inaugural recipients, Delia Iguina.

“The scholarship established in her honor has been invaluable in helping to cover part of my tuition, and it continues to motivate me as I work toward realizing my dreams. I am deeply committed to carrying forward her legacy by showing my team that, with hard work, motivation, and strong mentorship, anything is achievable at Cooper.”

“Thanks to this scholarship, I’ve set clear professional goals for my career at Cooper and beyond. One of my primary objectives is to continue building my leadership skills and advancing within the organization. I aspire to lead larger teams, take on more strategic responsibilities, and contribute to a positive, productive work environment.”

“This scholarship also enables me to pursue advanced education, which is critical to staying informed about industry trends and best practices. In the long term, my goal is to move into senior leadership roles, where I can drive initiatives that enhance both operational efficiency and the patient experience.”

Linda Brand’s commitment to supporting others continues to inspire future leaders at Cooper. Through this scholarship, her legacy empowers individuals like Iguina to achieve their dreams and make a lasting impact within the Cooper community and beyond.
