The Cooper Foundation is the philanthropic, community outreach, and community development arm of Cooper University Health Care. Its overarching purpose is to raise and steward charitable funds to advance Cooper's mission to serve, to heal, to educate. The Foundation fulfills this purpose through a wide range of initiatives - all focused on improving the patient experience and making the communities we serve healthier places to live, work and play.
Transforming Our Community
Cooper has called Camden home for more than 100 years. We serve the City and the greater community through a network of programs and services aimed at advancing the health and wellness of patients and their families. Importantly, we don’t just treat people when they are sick. We continually seek out ways to prevent illness and enhance the quality of life for our community.
Enhancing Patient Care
Each and every day, Cooper’s healthcare professionals provide expert care to our patients and their families. Funds raised by The Cooper Foundation enhance patient care by supporting a variety of funds and programs that purchase new equipment and technology, further research and education and support patient-centered care programs that result in better patient outcomes.
Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders
As South Jersey's leading academic health system, teaching and training the next generation of medical professionals is a key part of Cooper’s mission. Our physicians serve as faculty members of a Cooper Medical School of Rowan University sharing their knowledge and expertise with physicians of tomorrow through their research, these physicians can have a powerful impact on countless patients' lives far into the future.
#GiveLocal
All funds raised by The Cooper Foundation stay local to support Cooper University Health Care and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier community.
