The Cooper Foundation: The Cooper Foundation supports Cooper University Health Care in providing exceptional medical care and service to every patient, every day, in a patient-centered environment. Thoughtful gifts of all sizes also support a wide-range of wellness initiatives focused on making the communities we serve healthier places to live, work and play.
Operation Backpack: Each year, The Cooper Foundation teams up with KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy (KCNA) to provide every student enrolled with a new backpack and school supplies to start the school year off right. The Cooper Foundation orders backpacks and supplies, geared to the teachers’ requests, and have them shipped directly to the 3 KCNA schools in Camden for distribution on the first day of school. Monetary donations help support The Cooper Foundation’s Operation Backpack initiative by ensuring every KCNA student scholar has the tools they need for a successful school year.
Cooper Cup Golf Outing: Each year the Cooper Foundation hosts their annual golf outing in efforts to raise funds to support the diverse initiatives of the Cooper Foundation, ensuring a positive impact on the community. Donations go to the Cooper Foundation general fund which serves as a flexible resource, empowering the foundation to address various community needs such as education, healthcare, and social welfare, fostering a brighter future for all.
Cooper Red Hot Gala: The Cooper Red Hot Gala is a prestigious annual event known for its elegance and philanthropy, where attendees gather to support the mission of the Cooper Foundation through charitable donations and fundraising activities. The goal of the Cooper Red Hot Gala is to raise funds for the Cooper Foundation's general fund, which enables the foundation to support a wide range of community programs and initiatives. Pink Roses Teal Magnolias: Pink & Teal is the power of hope and the strength of sisterhood, touched by the exceptional and compassionate work at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. Since 2010, the Cooper Foundation's Pink Roses Teal Magnolias fund has been raising money for breast and gynecological cancer clinical and research programs at MD Anderson at Cooper. This fund is unique in that it raises money for both breast and gynecological cancer. All donations to Pink and Teal stay local, right here at MD Anderson at Cooper. Your gift supports research, complementary medicine, innovative technology, support services, our Survivor Program and our Patient in Need fund that assists patients in financial distress with transportation to appointments, childcare, prescription co-pays and other immediate needs.
