The Cooper Foundation is pleased to participate in #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving, in support of the Child Life Program at Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper.

The Child Life Program provides comprehensive physical and emotional support to children and their families during their hospital stay. They prepare children for what to expect while they are hospitalized, use iPads to provide distraction during medical procedures and provide music and art therapy for children to express their feelings.

A hospital stay can be pretty scary for young children and the Child Life Program helps to make each child comfortable and to let them be children as much as medically possible. There is even a designated safe zone within the hospital, where no medical interventions are allowed to happen that is purely a space for children to play - The Johnny M. Playroom.

Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper is the only state-designated acute care children’s hospital in South Jersey, providing exceptional care to children and families. Recognized as a leader in pediatric inpatient care with a renowned Pediatric Emergency Department, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the only Pediatric Trauma Center in Southern New Jersey, Children’s Regional gives super care for super kids!

Celebrate #GivingTuesday, by giving a gift in support of the Child Life Program at Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper today!
