Good for the Sole! Cooper Collects 1,100 Pounds of Shoes
Special thanks to Debbie Orr and Lisa Replogle who spearheaded the ShoeBox Recycling initiative in the spring. With their support and the Cooper Green Team, The Cooper Foundation collected 1,100 pounds of shoes that will be recycled by Shoebox Recycling for reuse by others in need across the world.
The Go Green, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle campaign raised $550, which will be used to purchase flowers for the DiFlorio Healing Garden at Cooper. The green team’s effort to identify drop off locations at the hospital and offsite offices was instrumental in this effort. Thank you to all who participated!
