Holiday of Hope: Giving Back to the Community

Every year, Cooper employees demonstrate their generous holiday spirit by helping those in need in our community. This holiday season, there are several ways you can join with The Cooper Foundation to make a difference in someone’s life:

Canned Food Drive: We will collect canned goods and other non-perishable items for the Food Bank of South Jersey through December 6, 2013.

Coats, Mittens and Scarves for Children: We will collect NEW CHILDREN’S coats, jackets, hats, scarves, mittens and clothes for our young neighbors in Cooper Plaza and Lanning Square through December 6, 2013.

Drop Off Locations for Food Drive and Coat Drive:
• Main Hospital – Errand Solutions, 1st Floor in Roberts Pavilion
• 3 Cooper Plaza – Lobby
• Voorhees – Building One Atrium
• 3 Executive Campus – Billing Office Reception Area, 2nd Floor
• The Cooper Foundation – 200 Federal Street, Suite 146, Camden

Adopt-A-Family: This is a perfect group holiday project! For the fourth year in a row, Cooper employees are invited to adopt a family and help them celebrate through a partnership with Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, who will provide a wish list from a family in need.

Here’s how Adopt-A-Family works: You can participate as an individual, group or department. Select a group leader if you are participating as a group. E-mail Tara Elk at The Cooper Foundation at elk-tara@cooperhealth.edu to request a family. Volunteers of America will distribute gifts to the families.

Additional information and drop off locations for Adopt-A-Family will be posted later this month.
