As a strategic and visionary leader Julie brings invaluable experience in both non-profit and health care fundraising.
During her tenure with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, she launched a new principal gifts program to identify prospects capable of giving $1 million or larger gifts to CHOP. From that work she developed outreach strategies and created principal gift giving opportunities, securing multiple seven- and six-figure gifts from prospects with no prior history of major gift giving.
Most recently Julie served as East Coast Director of Major Gifts for Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America. In this role she supervised 5 major gift officers across the East Coast, where the collective team was responsible for raising $9 million. Julie's efforts at Hadassah resulted in a 10% annual increase in major gifts across the East Coast and empowered the major gifts team to achieve additional growth.
Julie's expertise extends to capital and endowment campaigns, as well as coaching and training frontline major gifts teams. Her proven track record and dedication to fostering donor relationships will be tremendous assets to The Cooper Foundation as we work to building our individual donor base, capital campaign, major gifts program and legacy giving.
