MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper Opens With Extensive Media Coverage
This week, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper held its grand opening ceremonies for the new four-story, 103,050 square foot building on the Cooper Health Sciences Campus. On Monday, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie joined Cooper and MD Anderson leadership to celebrate this milestone for the South Jersey region at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. On Tuesday, employees and community members were invited to tour and enjoy a firsthand look at the new cancer center. On Wednesday, Cooper physicians and community physicians heard from a MD Anderson keynote speaker and toured the building. Many news outlets covered the event. Also, a new MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper television commercial has begun to be seen throughout the region on local networks.
