Excellence, medical advancement and a vision for healthier communities drive us at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. We are recognized for the depth, breadth and scope of our cancer services and for our clinical excellence.

Our physicians are faculty of the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and are on the forefront of medicine, offering the most advanced diagnostic services and treatments available today. We are accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer as an Academic Comprehensive Cancer Program.

We are poised to go further.

In October 2013, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper opened on the Cooper Health Sciences Campus. The new $100 million, state-of-the-art cancer treatment center is a place where patients and their families find the best in cancer care, close to home.

There’s More.

In addition to its home in Camden, MD Anderson at Cooper continues to provide outstanding multidisciplinary care at its locations in Voorhees and Willingboro. Patients benefit from enhanced services, newly renovated facilities and new equipment with the addition of a second linear accelerator and the installation of a permanent PET/CT in Voorhees.

As the heart of cancer care in the region, MD Anderson at Cooper offers expanded programs and services and create an environment that fosters a team approach to medicine. At the same time, it will broaden access to clinical trials and research through our distinguished affiliation with the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.

Spanning 103,000 square feet over four stories, MD Anderson at Cooper is home to:

  • Eighteen state-of-the-art exam and procedure rooms where patients will receive care and treatment in medical oncology, gynecologic oncology, hematology, surgical oncology and infusion therapy — all in the comfort and convenience of one location.
  • An open area chemotherapy infusion suite with 18 specially designed chemotherapy infusion chairs to keep patients comfortable during treatment, along with two private infusion rooms. The chemotherapy suite and lab will be on the same floor, making it convenient for patients.
  • A high-tech radiation oncology suite with a PET/CT scanner and two linear accelerators for radiation therapy.
  • A full complement of supportive care services including: genetic testing and counseling, nutrition education, social work services, physical rehabilitation, complementary medicine therapies and behavioral health support.
  • A scenic, outdoor Tranquility Garden where patients and families can retreat from the busy clinical setting and relax in a calm and peaceful environment.
  • A two-story open lobby with cascading natural light, creating a welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  • Thoughtfully curated artwork selected to promote healing, including an illuminated Tree of Life in the lobby.
  • Health education, outreach and screening programs to help build a healthier community
