The Ripa Center for Women's Health & Wellness

A Comprehensive Center Exclusively for Women

At The Ripa Center for Women’s Health & Wellness at Cooper, we recognize the unique needs of women. From prenatal care and gynecological preventive procedures to heart disease and osteoporosis treatment plans, we offer a comprehensive center that addresses the health and wellness needs of women of all ages.

Through expert medical attention, education programs, fitness classes, wellness guidance and clinical trials, our qualified team of physicians, nurses and healthcare practitioners is committed to improving the health of women in our community.

The new Ripa Center for Women’s Health & Wellness at Cooper in Voorhees, which opened in the spring of 2014, offers integrated clinical delivery of health care for women. Spanning 13,000 square feet, the new facility offers convenience, ease of access and coordinated care – by women for women – at all stages of life.

Unique Care for Unique Needs

The Ripa Center for Women’s Health and Wellness at Cooper provides a comprehensive array of women’s health services to address the health and wellness needs of women in a “spa like” atmosphere. The new center will feature:

  • A spacious reception and hospitality center, featuring comfortable seating, gourmet coffee and snacks, and computer stations to create a soothing and calming environment for patients and guests.

  • Twelve state-of-the art exam rooms, one consultation room and two therapy rooms where women will receive preventive care and treatment for medical conditions, including diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease.

  • Coordinated front and back offices, where physicians and caregivers can collaborate to provide a single care plan for each woman, and patient navigators can assist in scheduling physician appointments, preventive care services and referrals to Cooper specialists.
  • Gynecological and primary care services will be available on site, as well as a variety of specialty services, including Endocrine, Cardiology, Breast Program, Headache Program and Psychiatry/Psychology.
  • Radiological services will be provided in an intimate setting, with private changing areas and separate waiting rooms, in order to reduce the stress and anxiety of testing.
  • A meeting room, a wellness center for fitness and nutrition classes, and physician education lectures, and a teaching kitchen for small group classes and demonstrations of healthy cooking.
