Online Quilt Auction to Benefit Cancer Patients

CAMDEN, N.J. – Bidding has begun for the Cooper Foundation’s Online Quilt Auction benefiting the Pink Roses Teal Magnolias Fund for breast and gynecologic cancer research and clinical care
at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper.

The online auction features 52 quilts donated by quilters, quilt guilds and cancer survivors from across South Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and even as far away as Wisconsin. To browse and bid, visit www.32auctions.com/pinkandtealquiltauction18. Online bidding ends on Thursday, Nov. 1 at noon.

Held every two years, the Cooper Foundation’s Online Quilt Auction is a way to educate the public about the risk factors and symptoms of breast and ovarian cancer through the artistry of quilting.

“The quilts are truly works of art,” said Susan Bass Levin, President and CEO of The Cooper Foundation. “When you purchase a quilt, donated by talented artists, you join the fight against cancer.”

All proceeds from the Online Quilt Auction stay local, funding research projects, complementary medicine programs, supportive services, technology, the Survivor Program and the Patient in Need fund, which assists patients in financial distress with transportation, child care, prescription co-pays and other immediate needs.
