We are thrilled to share that our 7th Annual Pink Roses Teal Magnolias Brunch was our most successful yet, raising more than $750,000 for breast and gynecologic cancer research and clinical programs at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper.

A great big thank you to the over 900 women – and men – who attended and supported this annual celebration of hope, strength, courage, inspiration, remembrance and survivorship.

“The support MD Anderson Cooper receives through The Cooper Foundation and Pink Roses Teal Magnolias is critical to funding research, enhancing care and finding a cure,” said Generosa Grana, MD, Director of MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper.

This year’s event honored Drs. A. Leilani Fahey, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon; Sun Yong (Sunny) Lee, Breast Cancer Surgeon, and Robin Wilson-Smith, Gynecologic Oncologist, and Helen Nichter, Lead Surgical Advanced Practice Nurse, with the Pink and Teal Hero Award.  Click here to view our photo gallery.

“Pink and Teal” has raised more than $3.75 million for MD Anderson Cooper since it started. These important funds support research, new technology and programs for patients, including the Patient In Need Fund, Survivorship Program, and the Dr. Diane Barton Complementary Medicine program and Tea Cart.

Thank you to our co-chairs Donna Forman, Janet Knowles, Josephine McGinniss, Carolyn Shelby and Mary Ann Todd; host committee members, table captains, volunteers and our many community partners for our most successful brunch yet!

We welcome the opportunity to partner with organizations that share our passion for making a difference in the fight against breast and gynecological cancers! We’ve partnered with restaurants and bars, schools, gyms, yoga studios, auto dealerships, retail stores and are always looking for new partnerships and creative fundraising ideas. No effort is too big or too small. Visit our Community Partners page for more information on how to become a Pink and Teal Community Partner.
