As a dedicated development professional, Sam brings his expertise in capital campaign management and community engagement to his new role as an individual gift officer at The Cooper Foundation.
Hailing from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Sam has dedicated his career to fostering community and supporting those in need.
He pursued his passion for finance at the University of Rhode Island, earning both his undergraduate degree and MBA. His journey in development began at Brown University in Providence, RI, where he honed his skills on the Reunion and Class Giving teams.
Sam later relocated to Boston to join the advancement team at Franciscan Children’s Hospital, where he contributed to a groundbreaking capital campaign for a new building envisioned as the “Mental Health Hub” of New England. This initiative aimed to revolutionize mental health treatment and services in the region.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Sam enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading, live music, visiting movies or museums, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. An avid Patriots fan, he is also known to cheer for the Eagles on occasion.
