Sims Metal Management Donates Toys to Child Life Program
CAMDEN, N.J. – Thank you to Sims Metal Management for donating several bags of toys to the Child Life Program at The Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper University Health Care.
Scott Gorodetzer, facility manager at the Sims Metal Management Camden location, delivered the toys to The Cooper Foundation on Thursday. Gorodetzer says helping to make a difference in a child’s life this holiday season is important to everyone at Sims Metal Management.
“Helping children in need that are sick, it is a satisfying feeling,” said Gorodetzer. “It is important to help them any way that we can.”
The Child Life Program at the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper University Hospital consists of a dedicated team of Child Life Specialists who understand that illness and hospitalization are stressful events in the lives of children and their families.
