Carolyn Shelby is more than an 11-year breast cancer survivor—she’s a force of compassion and creativity, channeling her journey into a powerful mission to support others. Inspired by the challenges she faced during her own treatment, Carolyn founded “Stamping Out Cancer,” an annual event that transforms simple greeting cards into life-changing support for cancer patients.

For 10 incredible years, Carolyn has rallied a community of crafters, with businesses and individuals generously donating all supplies. This unique event ensures that 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper for vital research and patient assistance.

This year, “Stamping Out Cancer” raised an amazing $7,400, smashing its goal and adding to a decade-long impact that has raised significant funds to help those in need.

Thank you, Carolyn, for your unwavering dedication, creativity, and heart. Your work inspires us all and makes a real difference in the lives of cancer patients at MD Anderson at Cooper.
