Dear Friends,

A cornerstone is a building’s foundation…an indispensable building block. It’s also an emblem…a symbol of the building’s purpose and the work that goes on inside, day in and day out.

The MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper Cornerstone Society is a philanthropic initiative supporting the life-saving work of MD Anderson Cooper. The Society recognizes and permanently honors those who generously give to the Center's vital purposes…it is our way of celebrating the gifts that form our foundation. Every donation directly benefits the work we do, day in and day out. Your gift provides funding for research, patient access to clinical trials, our Patient in Need Fund, new technology, supportive services and expansion. Invariably, a donation becomes an inspiration for others to give.

There are several ways we recognize members of the Cornerstone Society: invitations to special events, distinguished mention in various publications, and naming opportunities throughout the Center. We salute the names of our Major Gift Donors (generous gifts of $100,000 or more) on our Building Hope Donor Wall, a permanent legacy with a prominent place in the Center's first floor lobby. We recognize our Inaugural Donors (generous gifts of $1,000 to $99,999) on a second floor donor wall which lists gifts pledged through January 8, 2016, at which time the wall will be closed.

Please don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
