U.S. Senator Booker Visits Cooper

On March 10, U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) took a tour of Roberts Pavilion, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper and the Health Sciences Campus at Cooper University Hospital with members of the hospital leadership team. Following the tour, the Cooper team presented a discussion on workforce development, highlighting strategies and programs geared toward talent acquisition and development and training at Cooper. Cooper was selected as the first in a series of visits with top New Jersey employers to discuss job opportunities, apprenticeship programs, workforce development issues and the local business climate.
